Our Criteria

The Standards Behind the Seal.

Every NWS Alliance certification is earned — not purchased. These are the criteria every member must meet before they carry our seal.

Why Standards Matter

The wedding industry is largely unregulated. Anyone can call themselves a professional photographer, DJ, day of coordinator regardless of experience, conduct, or client outcomes.

NWS Alliance exists to change that. Through an independent certification process, we help create a community of tried and true wedding professionals that set the bar high. These wedding certified vendors  meet established high standards of quality, professionalism, and trust. By partnering with some of the nation’s most respected wedding venues, we’re working to raise industry standards and bring greater confidence to the wedding planning experience.

When you see the NWS Alliance seal, it means someone has been checked — not just claimed.
